OUR STORY
Springbok and Rose Interior Design was established in 2015 by Lara Turner Tompkins and Janine Jeannes Edwards. When fate brought us together as neighbours, it wasn’t long before we both realised we shared a mutual passion for interior design and taking inspiration from our respective countries of birth, the brand ‘Springbok and Rose” was born.
Leaving behind careers in fashion and marketing, our ambition was to build a business that would help make interior design far more accessible and transparent whilst retaining the highest standards in execution and service. Nine years later, the company has gone from strength to strength having won several industry accolades from leading interiors platform HOUZZ as Best of Service in 2022 and 2023. Serving Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Greater London – Springbok and Rose is now considered as one of the leading boutique interior design studios in the area.

Unlike many smaller boutique interior design studios, having two founders means double the resource and double the ideas. We work together across all aspects of the design and realisation, sharing the same aesthetic vision and a complimentary skillset to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction.
LARA
As the “Rose” of Springbok and Rose, Lara comes from a marketing, PR and events background for major FTSE 100 corporates. Lara helps to bring out of the box creativity, attention to detail and finely tuned project management skills to all client projects.
JANINE
As the ‘Springbok” of Springbok and Rose, Janine comes a design, manufacturing and procurement background for major high street and designer footwear retailers. Janine brings her design skills, sourcing and astute financial management experience to all client projects.
