But I didn’t want it to be contrived so they opened my mind to creating the most incredible geometric bookcase and taking the geometric theme into other pieces in the room. It’s a real talking point but also hugely functional and beautiful. As a large room, they also helped me zone the space to create reading nooks offset by pink velvet armchairs. "I first saw Springbok and Rose’s work at my neighbour’s property and was so impressed, I contacted them myself to help with an extension project.
Janine and Lara became involved at an early stage and challenged me to rethink some of the layout decisions I had made; which I am very glad they did as it helped me to avoid making mistakes. They then worked tirelessly on transforming the new space and the adjacent lounge into rooms that complemented each other, but which each have their own identity.
I would probably never have made some of the choices I did without Janine and Lara’s guidance and recommendations – sometimes pushing me outside my “comfort zone”. Their extensive network of reliable suppliers enabled me to access bespoke solutions that I know I could never have sourced on my own. The result is that I now have a lounge and orangery in which I love to relax and entertain and of which I am very proud. I have lost count of the number of times friends and family have said “it’s like something out of a magazine”.
Since then Janine and Lara helped me to renovate my London apartment – including a brand new kitchen and refurbishment of every room. They completely understood the brief and what I wanted to achieve and the transformation is phenomenal. The colours are beautiful and a harmonious scheme has been created throughout the apartment, but with each room having its own theme. The furniture is perfect for the space and, again, Janine and Lara’s network of contacts proved to be invaluable. Throughout the project Janine and Lara were closely monitoring progress, chivvying along suppliers and overseeing deliveries. All of this is done with cheerful smiles and good humour – going back to look for more options (without complaint) if I did not absolutely love initial suggestions for colour schemes, fabrics, furniture and so on. I could not be happier with the results of both the projects carried out by Springbok and Rose and I highly recommend their services.”

We moved into our home in Chobham and were really stuck with what to do with it. Our entire downstairs needed a major overhaul and we couldn’t see the wood for the trees.. (We had so much wood which overtook the house!). Lara and Janine came in and presented us with ideas to dramatically improve the way we live – with colour scheme recommendations and ideas to add much-needed storage – including the most amazing drinks cabinet and copper feature radiator. Our brief was also to incorporate some existing pieces of furniture into their recommendations which they did seamlessly. "We travel a lot for work and when not abroad, need a home office which we can retreat to. Springbok and Rose helped us to see how a room being used as a guest room would be much better served as a home office and designed a multi-functional space serving both our business and family requirements. A stylish sofa bed replaced the old double bed and a made to measure storage ottoman was designed to fit perfectly into the available wardrobe space - making way for the bed as and when required. Thoughtful designs included personal touches like cushions depicting our world travels and family backgrounds. We also really wanted the office to have a personality and the choice of desk and chair combine style with function."
