A stand alone service or as part of a wider room renovation, built in and bespoke carpentry form an integral part of many design schemes. We work with several skilled carpenters and joiners to cater for all budgets and all requirements. Using a variety of finishes from MDF, wood or melamine veneers and solid wood, carpentry recommendations are accompanied by hand drawn sketches or CAD drawings – subject to the amount of detail required and the spend involved.

A stand alone service or as part of an overall room design, we are often asked to assist with window dressings, blinds, shutters and soft furnishings – including bespoke cushions and bench pads. The process starts with an understanding of what kind of window dressings best suits the room  - including the pole and mechanisms - and where existing furniture is being kept, what colours and kinds of fabrics will complement the decor.

We then spend time sourcing fabrics and recommending the style of window dressings including recommendations on pole size, design and material.  This is collated into a presentation with fabric sample boards for your selection. Before making (the seamstress) commences, we undertake a window survey to finalise all measurement and once completed, we manage the installation process.

A stand alone service as part of a wider room renovation, upholstery is one of most requested aspects of interior design. We work with a team of highly skilled trades to either re-cover/re-spring/re-stuff an existing armchair or sofa or have the option to create bespoke pieces to best fit with a room dimensions. Upholstery also extends to ottoman coffee tables, benches, headboards, stools and pouffes as well as bench, dining chair and window seat pads. Fabrics are sourced to best suit the design aesthetic of the room and are sent for fire retardant treatment in line with UK legislation.
