HOW WE TYPICALLY WORK

How We Work

Initial Complementary Consultation

To those living within a 30 mile radius of GU15, we are able to offer an initial complementary consultation. We will come to your home to hold a one hour free initial meeting where we listen to your requirements and discuss your objectives.

Before we arrive, we will ask you to complete our Style DNA Questionnaire so we can delve deeper into your desired interior scheme. We analyse our clients personality traits and how you live in your home which will help us create bespoke schemes should you proceed to the next stage.

We believe in personal touches which, without costing the earth, say this home was made just for you.

Creating a Mood Board

If you wish to proceed after the initial consultation, we start the creative process and will provide you with two Design Concept Boards which will cover the following areas:

  • Colour scheme

  • Furniture selection

  • Accessories selection

  • Fabric and trim selections

  • Lighting selections

  • Flooring and floor covering selections

  • Window covering selections

  • Paint and Wall Covering selections

  • A Floor Plan to scale showing furniture and floor covering placement

  • Wall Elevations to scale showing window coverings, lighting and art placement

  • Art selections

Additional mood boards are available by separate cost.

Your Involvement

Once a moodboard has been signed off, and the costs agreed, you can then engage our services to project manage and implement the room design. We will always make suggestions of several choices for each element of your design but the final decision will always be yours.

You will be required to make a lot of decisions such as which fabric to use, curtain or blinds, contrasting fabric textures, contrasting or complementing colours? What hardware to add on drawers or doors to finish your look? Do you prefer plain or patterned fabric? Our aim is to make the process interactive and fun for you.

Deadlines and Timing Plans

Springbok and Rose aim to deliver in an efficient manner and therefore will need you to make decisions within a scheduled time in order to remain on target. A full timetable will be produced for each and every room design so you can see what needs to be done and by when.

Please refer to "Services" for a fuller breakdown of the process and options outlined here.
